Day 110: The Atom Age, space monkey.
I think I got this shirt, sometime in 2010, probably at the Plea for Peace center in Stockton CA. I have been to so many Atom Age shows it is hard to keep track anymore! I go to most of their local shows because they are a great band, and maybe also because my boyfriend plays bass in the band, but mostly because they are great. You can see for yourself here. They also put on a great live show if you ever get a chance to check them out, they tour a lot so you probably will.
I was given this shirt for free, I think it was an old display shirt they were out of maybe? It was way too big so I altered it to fit. NO SLEEVES!! I also have another Atom Age display shirt with duct tape all over it that I have been meaning to try and salvage. Does anyone know how to get duct tape out of shirts? Anyone else would have thrown it away, but not me, cause I am a shirt hoarder. Someone call TLC.
Oh and because I happen to know, my friend Sean Hills from the band Bastards of Young designed this logo. He’s rad.
